I will always wonder if it hastened the death of the AC, however as he was already declining with FIP and would have been PTS if the MRI he was booked for strongly indicated it. I know they can go downhill very fast with FIP but a lot of symptoms of his last day tallied with the food related illness (he never made it to the scan). He may also have only been on Royal Canin gastrointestinal by that point as the FIP was causing him to have terrible diarrhoea. But then people were saying you weren't in the clear for about a month.
