For all of my runtime tests I used the included 5000mAh battery and measured the % of relative output change, not total output (lumens). Starting with Turbo it lasts for about 2:20 before reaching equilibrium. During this time the light peaks at about 45C. It runs at this equilibrium very steadily out to the 3 hour mark. Battery Level Indication Each time the light is turned on, the indicator (unscrew the light head to see) will indicate the battery level and will last for 3 seconds. Li-ion batteries are powerful cells designed for commercial applications and must be treated with caution and handled with care. Only use quality batteries with circuit protection will reduce the potential for combustion or explosion; but cell damage or short circuiting are potential risks the user assumes.
The normal charging time of the included Fenix ARB-L21-5000 V2.0 is approximately 3.5 hours from depletion to full charging.The Fenix TK20R V2 represents an important fixture within the TK series in that it’s one of the few in the tactical-use lineup that features onboard charging, which appeals to a lot of buyers and users. The attention to detail is also nice, like retaining the IP68 rating even with the charge port cover retracted and visual LVP notification. Nice! Unscrew the tail cap or remove the battery to prevent accidental activation during storage or transportation.
