I'm surprised by some negative reviews on it as I always get asked about its name-people love it, never heard a bad comment before.

I wouldn't compare it with any other fragrance - it's one of those classic ones I come back to every now and then. With my "body chemistry", following four hours of wear in an office-type setting, the fragrance/scent is hardly noticeable. It's a fresh gin and tonic that you wear and imagine walking through a forest after the rain has stopped, and feeling like there's nowhere else on earth you'd rather be in that moment.This beautiful summer fragrance was an upbeat fragrance with an energetic top note thanks to banana leaves from Costa Rica, Williams pear and black pepper. EDIT: Still smells generic and dated but I have come to appreciate it more, especially in warm weather.

Not working on my skin, I just feel citruses and I can have this kind of perfumes for 2-3 pounds, so nothing special, but not very bad. I've never really liked it, and I used it only when I was on holidays, after a shower, going to dinner after sunbathing on the hot and sandy beach. After maybe 15 mins on my skin it started to smell like thick marmalade, became sweeter, with notes of caramel and maybe vanille.The tonic-like quality of the opening gradually fades, leaving a pleasant and clean-citrusy-floral aura. A perfume that brings me very far back in the university days and that evokes me beautiful memories. This is sharper than the majority of fresh fragrances I have experienced, yet at the same time manages to be relatively unobtrusive. But if you want to smell different and want an easy to wear fragrance and don't think about the sprays, this might me an option. The sleek and modern design of the bottle reflects the sophistication and refined taste of its wearer, adding an extra touch of elegance to the overall experience.

A simple and clear fragrance for the woman who enjoys the big city, combining elegance and refinement. They could be a factor here as this is very very slightly reminiscent of Amouage Reflection which on occasion has a faint banana smell to it.

It's like a perfect floral-fruity-oriental mix with a sweet touch (very natural and exquisite, nothing cloying) I don't know if cinnamon or what, but the formula is intoxicating.
