About this deal
For DJs, creativity and personal expression define just how far their career will go, and with the expansive features of the NS4FX, the sky is the limit! Additionally, crossfader assignment switches allow you to customise and calibrate the performance of the NS4FX.
However, the Gear4music extended warranty scheme provides an enhanced service, and is designed to offer a higher level of protection than many 'free' warranties offered by some retailers and manufacturers. Please give us the reason for your assessment in the following text box and – if possible – your e-mail address for further questions. The centre of the wheels features a vibrant LED display that shows track position, BPM, pitch range, and time. Each controller has many performance features; however, the Numark NS4FX is more suited to Serato DJ.This controller allows new DJs to share their unique skills without purchasing extra sound equipment. To add even more flavour and creativity, the interactive FX section features 6 quick-launch software effects that are triggered by using the sturdy and fun paddle toggle switches. Pulling the paddles down temporarily activates an effect, but only as long as the paddle is pressed; if you let go, the paddle springs back to neutral and the selected effect is deactivated. User will love the new practice mode which allows them to try out mixes with just their laptop so new ideas can be tested whenever inspiration hits.
Personally, I would’ve preferred the controller to be USB-powered – this makes one less cord to carry. A dedicated loop section with multipliers on each deck grants quick access and control over seamless loops to extend mixes orcraft custom transitions. Unlike many other controllers, the NS4FX allows you to route the mic channels through the USB interface making it ideal for streaming sets where the microphone is used. The additional RCA booth outputs allows you to direct audio to your own personal monitors, or an area of larger sound system. Each channel features dedicated premium-quality volume faders, 3-band EQ, and large high pass/low pass filter dials.
There are physical buttons for pitch bending, key lock, and controlling the tempo range of the pitch slider. While it doesn’t have “pro” features like standalone mixer capability, comprehensive FX and RGB performance pads, it does have two microphone inputs, an aux input, balanced booth outs, plus a neat trick for livestreamers to make using a microphone easier when streaming sets. The FX area also provides full hardware control over the wet / dry mix and beat division to help DJs craft artistic and expressive performances.
The FLX6 only has an unbalanced RCA master out and doesn’t send the microphone through the USB for live streaming.
