This is an irresistible story about a little cloud who wants to do big and important things like the other clouds.There is also a guide for adults to help children going through grief and a list of organisations that can be contacted to offer additional support.

Tom's scrapbooks are always fascinating, full of photographs, notes and snippets of history that inspire his books, and this one is no different! Writing this review has been a bit of a struggle because the more I’ve heard about Zach over the years (I’ve participated in a Clouds Choir and I listen to the radio station that boosted him every day at work) and I think I wanted to be able to rave about this book but in the end I was really underwhelmed.Zach was a normal kid, he was an extroverted and friendly guy and this is a big part of why he ended up being catapulted to the heights that he was. Several reviewers reported that they were disappointed by the content, including one who said, “I was expecting much more factual information including types of clouds. Exhibits of cloud images captured on film by John Day have been and/or are on exhibit in a number of public galleries including the Brooks Institute of Photography, Santa Barbara, Californa, and The Hong Kong Science Museum. Zach was such an inspiration (and continues to be) for so many in this world, and I'm glad his mom, Laura, wrote this book to be shared with the world. The illustrations are wonderful and really capture the changing emotions explored through the words which makes this a perfect book to use to discuss this difficult issue with young children.

You also explore some photos that incorporate waterfalls and rainbows and that have poetry just beneath them.
