Siegert sons relocated the company to its present home in Trinidad in the 1870’s and the company rebranded from ‘Dr. Luxardo Original Maraschino Cherries add a gourmet touch to your drinks and begin as all natural whole pitted cherries candied with sweet Marasca syrup. A thing of austere beauty: a lump of sugar, dissolved with a little water and two dashes of bitters, whiskey, a bit of ice and a lemon peel garnish.
