About this deal

This is by far the most important factor on any keyboard! The keys have a really nice weight and feel to them, and typing for a long amount of time on this keyboard is comfortable and does not result in any straining pains that I would sometimes get on my previous bog standard keyboard. It must be USB - I understand the need for a wireless mouse, but a wireless keyboard is an unnecessary luxury for my day to day desk based work. Also, the less interacting with bluetooth, the better. The KC 6000 is far more responsive and comfortable to type on. What’s more, despite its slim design and appearance, it offers noticeably more travel than my MacBook Air, despite the latter being a 2015 model. Compared against the more modern MacBooks, key travel is greater. With the KC 6000 Slim For Mac, you have far more control over your individual keypresses. The KC 6000 Slim For Mac features a classic white on silver colour scheme Cherry KC 6000 Slim For Mac performance – Responsive and comfortable, it offers great control over your keypresses

The CHERRY KC 6000 SLIM FOR MAC with silver housing and white keys can be used on all end devices with USB-A connection and MAC OSX operating system. *

It must have a numeric keypad (it does make me wonder how developers and other creatives work for large amounts of time without a numeric keypad) I prefer chiclet keyboards. I haven't done any scientific analysis, but I'm confident that my words per minute typing is higher wen I'm using a keyboard that has chiclet keys. Amongst developers this in an unpopular opinion, with many developers preferring mechanical keyboards (don't be that guy smashing a mechanical keyboard in an open plan office!) This time I get to welcome the Cherry KC 6000 Slim Keyboard in for review, let me tell you it impresses from the get-go which I wasn’t expecting! So let us get into it and see how this keyboard performs, how it is to use and all as a daily keyboard. Cherry KC 6000 Slim Specifications & Features Compact dimensions leave enough space on your desk for other equipment. The scissor mechanism is practically silent and provides an excellent typing experience and a long service life. The numeric keypad means the keyboard is well prepared for frequent number entries.

The KC 6000 Slim For Mac features a closed housing, meaning there’s little room for dust and dirt to become bothersome. However, do be aware that this keyboard isn’t mechanical, thus the keycaps aren’t easily replaceable. As mentioned previously, the KC 6000 Slim For Mac isn’t mechanical. Instead, the KC 6000 sports a chiclet design, utilising a scissor mechanism to stabilise the keycap and help make a thinner, shorter-travel keyboard. It’s similar to that found in a laptop, which is another plus point of this product. The corded KC 6000 SLIM FOR MAC is the streamlined keyboard alternative for avid writers using Mac!A built-in metal plate keeps the keyboard stable and non-slip on your desk. If you prefer a steeper angle when typing, the angle of inclination of the KC 6000 SLIM FOR MAC can be adjusted with 4 rubber feet supplied. A flexible cable allows connection under the desk.
