About this deal

The "Clear" in this card's name may allude to Clear Mind, which is necessary to perform an Accel Synchro Summon in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. Though you’ll typically have Clear Wing Synchro Dragon use this effect on itself, it can negate any monster effect targeting one Level 5 or higher monster on the field. You can have it extend its protection to your other Synchro Monsters, for example, or even stop your opponent from targeting their own monsters with beneficial effects! It’s also useful if you need to prevent your monster from having its own effect negated by Effect Veiler. Z-ARC was the original owner of these four dragons during his life in the Original Dimension, and he used them in a brutal manner to entertain the audience.

Like "Dark Rebellion" and "Starving Venom", its effect allows it to gain ATK dependent on the target of its effectOnce per turn, during either player’s turn, when another Level 5 or higher monster activates its effect on the field: You can negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it. Just like the anime effects of "Odd-Eyes" and "Dark Rebellion", this card's effect affects Level 5 or higher monsters. Unlike the other two cards, however, and like "Starving Venom", that characteristic was retained for this card's OCG/ TCG effect. All of the upgraded forms of the "Four Dimension Dragons" have 500 more ATK and, excluding the " Pendulum Dragon" Fusion Monsters, 500 more DEF than their base forms.

As a side note: Yes, you can use a Clear Wing Synchro Dragon to negate your opponent’s Clear Wing Synchro Dragon, and vice-versa! Whoever saves their effect for last comes out ahead, in this case. Usually, you’ll be having Clear Wing Synchro Dragon protect itself from targeting effects. The big thing is that you can dodge Xyz Monsters which get around the first effect due to not having Levels – Clear Wing Synchro Dragon is still safe from the likes of Castel, the Skyblaster Musketeer and Number 101: Silent Honor ARK. Besides Xyz Monsters, many key low-Level monsters have targeting effects, like Farfa, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss. While Clear Wing Synchro Dragon’s first effect covers all kinds of activated effects, it’s limited to negating Level 5 or higher monsters on the field. With its second effect, Clear Wing Synchro Dragon fills in much of the gaps left by its first effect. If any Level 5 or higher monster is targeted by a monster effect, you may negate and destroy that too! This monster shares several similarities with " Stardust Dragon": both are WIND Dragon Synchro Monsters with identical ATK and DEF, have white scales and emit a sparkle when they fly, have an effect negation effect, and are used by major characters who ride Duel Runners. When all four "Dimension Dragons" have been summoned in the same location, a distortion in the sky appears and the dragons' owners all Awaken. In addition, the dragons that are controlled by Yuya himself emitted an aura of darkness similar to the one he emits while Awakened.

The final layer of punishment is in the form of a huge ATK boost for the rest of the turn! While Clear Wing Synchro Dragon starts off at a nice 2500 ATK, there’s always room for improvement in that area. Any time it destroys something with its other two effects, Clear Wing Synchro Dragon will absorb that monster’s power into itself! Even taking down something of average size, like a modest Chaos Sorcerer, will shoot your dragon up to 4800 ATK! Destroy two monsters, using each effect, and you could end the game with just Clear Wing Synchro Dragon by itself! The "Dimension Dragons" resonate when in close proximity of each other, whether they are summoned during a Duel or not. Additionally, they can influence their owners to summon them if the conditions for their summoning are met. When facing off against each other or one is summoned, or about to be summoned while in the presence of another, their owners suffer an intense burning pain in their chest. In the case of the former, it may cause them to enter an awakened state, Dueling ferociously until their opponent is defeated, although they are capable of returning to their senses during the Duel. The Dragons also appear to be able to cause their owner to synchronize with a counterpart if they happen to be in the same dimension. Once per turn, during either player’s turn, when a monster effect is activated that targets exactly 1 Level 5 or higher monster on the field (and no other cards): You can negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it.

Odd-Eyes: Red, the color of the right Pendulum Scale on Pendulum Monsters, and orange, the color of Effect Monsters.

This card is the Synchro counterpart of " Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon", " Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon", and " Starving Venom Fusion Dragon". It is the only member that can use more than two monsters in its Summon mechanic, provided no modifications are made.
